Designed to shine the spotlight on superior on-pack activity and to establish on-pack as a standalone media category, the the Pyro Inspirations Awards were engineered by Pyrotec’s Packmedia division which offers novel on-pack promotion and communication vehicles.

Winners are selected five times a year at two-month intervals for the best on-pack devices in the Promotional and Informational categories. The winners of the bi-monthly awards proceed into the finals at the end of the year and contend for the Pyro Inspirations Award Trophy.  The awards are held at a special function and judged by a panel of esteemed judges against the following criteria:

1. Originality -  innovation, freshness and design;
2. Impact – wow factor and selling power;
3. Clever use of space -  amount of information, relevance to product and functionality
